Playing dumb tourist time has come, this is only way to see a metropolis, even for a 20-minutes city like Adelaide. We took public transports, walk and drive, with enough batteries in the cameras.
There are number of free public transport routes and also concession for interstate visitors, which we took advantage of, one could also take up a Beam share ride.
Beam Share Rides are all over the city |
However, our preferred mode for exploring a city, has always been the self-powered way, walk. This time, no exception.
While there are plenty more happy tourist snaps in the photo album link above, or here:- Adelaide City & Beaches, I found most interesting are the graffiti, and we actually "caught" a couple of graffiti artists in their act, very well organized.
And then there are the buildings that bears the name "Polites" everywhere we turned. One can't say he is shy about his name on all the buildings he owns. Here is a bit of history of The Polite Buildings.
